Durable Objects Alarms — a wake-up call for your applications

This post introduces Durable Objects Alarms, a new capability for Durable Objects within the Cloudflare Workers ecosystem. Alarms allow Durable Objects to schedule their own future execution via an `alarm()` handler, providing guaranteed at-least-once execution and enabling use cases like queues and deferred processing. This significantly enhances the fault tolerance and programmatic control of Durable Objects, complementing the existing edge computing capabilities of Workers.
