HTTP/2 Demo: Under the Hood

This post details the technical implementation of an HTTP/2 demo page. It explains how iframes were used to load content from an HTTP/1.1-only CDN (Amazon CloudFront) and Cloudflare's HTTP/2-enabled CDN side-by-side. The iframe content was generated using JavaScript to sequentially request 200 image tiles, created with ImageMagick, to illustrate multiplexing benefits. Cross-domain security rules were addressed using `Window.postMessage`. Caching policies were configured to cache everything edge-side but store nothing in the browser cache to ensure accurate demo results. The post also touches on SPDY fallback for older browsers.
