This binding decouples image optimization from delivery, allowing for more flexible workflows, including transforming images not accessible via URL and chaining multiple transformations without intermediate delivery. It also introduces a new way to specify optimization parameters, allowing for more flexible ordering. Local development support is provided via online and offline modes in Wrangler.
