This post introduces Argo, a new product that enhances website content optimization through two core features: Smart Routing and Tiered Cache. Smart Routing dynamically optimizes internet traffic paths in real-time, akin to a Waze for internet traffic, to reduce latency and connection errors. Tiered Cache leverages Cloudflare's global network to improve cache hit ratios and reduce origin server load by first checking other Cloudflare PoPs for content before contacting the origin. Argo also enhances security by encrypting traffic between Cloudflare data centers.
