This post introduces Cloudflare Zaraz, a third-party manager built on Cloudflare Workers, designed to address GDPR and Schrems II compliance concerns related to data transfers to the US. Zaraz offloads third-party tool execution from the browser to the Cloudflare Workers platform, enabling features like IP address masking for tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel/Conversion API. It also includes a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) feature to scan and mask sensitive data. For Enterprise customers, Zaraz can be integrated with Cloudflare's Regional Services and Customer Metadata Boundary to ensure data localization within the EU.
