Introducing New Connector Features and Single Message Transforms in Confluent Cloud

This post introduces Single Message Transforms (SMTs) to Confluent Cloud's fully managed connectors, allowing for lightweight message modification (e.g., renaming fields, masking values, routing records) directly within the connector pipeline before data reaches Kafka or the sink system. It also introduces connector log events, exposing detailed operational logs to users for self-service troubleshooting of connector failures. Finally, it adds connector data output previews for source connectors, enabling users to validate data structure and format before actual ingestion without launching the connector.
