GitLab is introducing continuous accessibility testing to help developers improve the accessibility of their software. The initial release in 12.8 includes an Accessibility template for CI/CD pipelines that runs scans on merge requests and generates an HTML report based on WCAG20 standards. Future iterations will focus on scanning only changed pages, displaying issues in the merge request view, and displaying the full report within GitLab.
