Grab has developed Marionette, an internal platform for simulating end-to-end user scenarios in the transport domain. It allows developers and QAs to create and run simulations without depending on actual passenger and driver apps, by simulating user actions, setting up test data, and managing cohorts for isolated testing. Interactions can be done via UI, SDK (Go), or RESTful APIs, enabling comprehensive testing of booking flows, driver/passenger behaviors, and various cities/taxi types.
