Microservice Framework (Grab-Kit)

Grab has developed Grab-Kit, a Go microservice framework designed to standardize and accelerate the creation and operation of distributed services. It provides scaffolding, default library configurations, automatic initialization, context propagation, and runtime framework configuration to abstract away distributed system design complexities. Grab-Kit generates service definitions from proto files, enforces a consistent middleware stack for logging, circuit breaking, and stats, and automates dashboard generation. This has led to significant increases in productivity and improvements in the stability and availability of services.
