Hugging Face now allows users to generate Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for their models and datasets directly from the Hub. This feature, implemented in partnership with DataCite, provides persistent, citable links to ML assets, enhancing reproducibility and discoverability. Users can generate DOIs from repository settings, and these DOIs can be updated for new versions of models or datasets.
