Announcing tools to help partners improve connectivity

This post introduces two new tools, Advanced Network Planning and Actionable Insights, to help connectivity partners improve network infrastructure. Advanced Network Planning uses satellite imagery, computer vision, and machine learning to identify underserved areas and optimize network design for cost and performance. Actionable Insights, with its Network Insights and Market Insights components, leverages aggregated and de-identified data from Facebook users (with location services enabled) to provide network performance maps, identify congestion, and offer market share and device adoption insights to connectivity providers. The tools are designed with privacy by design principles, sharing only aggregated and de-identified information.
