Bombyx is being licensed for product development

Bombyx is a robot designed to weave fiber-optic cables over powerlines, addressing the cost and complexity of traditional fiber installation. Key innovations include a miniature fiber cable, spool-free geometry, and the robot's ability to traverse energized conductors and cross obstacles using machine vision and custom sensors. The licensing agreement will enable Hibot to further develop the technology for product deployment, infrastructure inspection, and grid modernization.
