Micro Frontend Framework

Netflix is evolving its approach to building internal tools by developing Lattice, a pluggable framework for micro frontends. This framework aims to enable low-friction adoption, weak dependencies, and rapid development by allowing applications to extend core functionality using familiar React paradigms and referencing remote bundles via Webpack Module Federation or native JavaScript Modules. Lattice provides a mechanism for hosts to expose mount points and state that plugins can manipulate or override, facilitating the creation of highly aligned yet loosely coupled micro frontend architectures.
