Why We Switched Our Data Orchestration Service

This post details the migration of Spotify's data orchestration service from Luigi and Flo to Flyte. The migration was driven by the need to reduce maintenance and support burden, enable platform automation, and gain better insights into workflow execution. Flyte was chosen for its extensibility, multi-language support, scalability, and platform approach. The integration involves Flyte Admin for workflow registration and Styx for execution triggering.
