What this trail covers

Vercel's platform integrates third-party services, starting with storage solutions like Supabase, Redis, and EdgeDB, offering integrated billing and streamlined setup. Vercel Postgres (Neon) and Vercel KV (Upstash) will be migrated to Marketplace integrations. The platform aims to be a central hub for developer tools. Nuxt integration now supports Vercel KV via Nitro Storage. The Vercel Marketplace also now supports Stripe integration, enabling single-click installation of Stripe accounts and au

Aug 2026How we migrated the database behind every Vercel buildThis post details the migration of Vercel's build warm pool state from Redis to DynamoDB. The migration was performed live, in phases, using feature flags and shadow writes/reads to ensure data consistency and minimal downtime. The core challenge was adapting to DynamoDB's higher latency compared to Redis, which required redesigning the supply loop to handle slower reads by overlapping operations and accepting a small degree of stale state. The schema was redesigned around container IDs and access patterns, incorporating time-aware indexes for status counts and a separate table for billing mappings. The migration process involved rigorous monitoring and phased rollouts, with two failures encountered and addressed during the process.
Jul 2026Think Bigger: From Prototype to Global Scale with Vercel and AWS - Ship 26 NYCThis talk highlights the deep integration between Vercel and AWS, emphasizing how Vercel runs on over 30 AWS services across 20 global regions. It specifically calls out the use of AWS databases within the Vercel Marketplace and the integration of OpenSearch Serverless for RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and Amazon Bedrock within Vercel's AI Gateway. The discussion also touches upon enterprise adoption through the AWS Marketplace and BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) options, and showcases large-scale use cases like The Weather Company and Fanatics, demonstrating how Vercel's speed and AWS's depth combine for building and operating at enterprise scale.
Mar 2026From idea to secure checkout in minutes with StripeThis post details the general availability of Stripe on the Vercel Marketplace and v0, enabling direct connection of existing live Stripe accounts to Vercel projects. It highlights the reduction in setup friction and improvement in security through programmatic key management and cryptographic key exchange, which provisions API keys as environment variables automatically. The integration supports production use cases like e-commerce, SaaS subscriptions, and invoicing.
Jan 2026AWS databases are now live on the Vercel Marketplace and v0This post announces the integration of AWS databases (Aurora PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, Aurora DSQL) into the Vercel Marketplace and v0. It details how developers can provision these databases directly from Vercel, including automatic configuration and credential injection. The post highlights performance benefits due to co-location with Vercel functions and demonstrates secure database client setup using OIDC for IAM auth tokens, eliminating the need for stored passwords. It also covers both new AWS team setups (Vercel-managed accounts) and existing AWS team setups (linking accounts via IAM delegation).
Nov 2025Build and deploy data applications on Snowflake with v0This post announces the integration of v0 with Snowflake, enabling users to connect v0 to Snowflake, query data using natural language, and build/deploy Next.js applications where compute runs within Snowflake. It highlights a split architecture where Vercel manages the application and authentication layers, and Snowflake handles compute and data, ensuring data never leaves the Snowflake environment. The integration aims to simplify the creation of data-driven applications and AI applications for non-developers.

Nov 2023The power of headless: Ecommerce success with Next.js, Vercel, and Shopify | Customers | VercelThis post highlights how Commerce-UI leverages Vercel's platform, Next.js, and Shopify in a headless architecture to build custom e-commerce experiences. It details how the combination enables custom URL structures, internationalization with Edge Middleware, tailored CMS experiences, and advanced performance optimizations through granular control over caching and rendering. It also touches upon Vercel's Draft Mode, ISR, Preview Deployments, comments, and Framework-defined infrastructure for seamless beauty and performance, and enhanced reporting for optimization.
May 2023Improved support for Nuxt on VercelThis post details the integration of Vercel KV with Nuxt.js via Nitro Storage, allowing developers to configure Vercel KV as a durable storage layer with a few lines of configuration in `nuxt.config.ts`. It also explains how Nuxt's route rules can be used for Incremental Static Revalidation (ISR) by specifying revalidation intervals or enabling full static generation. The post highlights Vercel's partnership with Nuxt and the benefits of these integrations for Nuxt developers.
May 2023Introducing storage on VercelIntroduced Vercel KV (serverless Redis), Vercel Postgres (serverless SQL), and Vercel Blob (edge file storage) as first-party storage solutions. Vercel KV is powered by Upstash and offers durability. Vercel Postgres is powered by Neon and integrates with Next.js Server Components. Vercel Blob provides an API for storing and serving files at the edge. The post also states that Vercel KV and Vercel Postgres products have been sunset and are now available through the Vercel Marketplace.
Jun 2022MongoDB and Vercel: from idea to global fullstack app in secondsThis post announces the integration between Vercel and MongoDB Atlas, highlighting how developers can easily deploy full-stack serverless applications. It emphasizes the ease of use, scalability, and performance benefits of using Vercel with frameworks like Next.js and databases like MongoDB. The post showcases a demo application and provides links to deploy the integration starter kit. It positions the integration as a way to enable developers to create at the moment of inspiration by simplifying the full-stack serverless development workflow.
Jul 2021Supercharge your Vercel Projects with IntegrationsThis post announces the upgraded Integration Marketplace, highlighting streamlined installation and configuration for Vercel users.
