Introduces the ability to pass custom variables when triggering custom pipelines, enabling parameterized builds for specific sub-projects, test suites, or deployment environments. This simplifies pipeline configurations by reducing repetition and maintenance overhead compared to defining separate pipelines for each input combination. Variables are exposed as environment variables within the pipeline.
