Growing the Cloudflare AI team with talent from Ensemble AI

The acquisition of Ensemble AI brings expertise in model compression and efficient inference architectures, specifically NdLinear and NdLinear-LoRA, to Cloudflare. These techniques aim to reduce parameter count and compute for transformer models by operating directly on multidimensional activations. This complements existing efforts in quantization and vector quantization, with a focus on improving the economics of serving large language models and advanced AI architectures by enhancing model efficiency, GPU utilization, and scalable deployment within Cloudflare Workers AI.
