How Cloudy translates complex security into human action

This post introduces the integration of Cloudy, an LLM-powered explanation layer, into Cloudflare One. Cloudy translates complex machine learning outputs into human-readable guidance for security teams and end users. It is being extended to Cloudflare Email Security and CASB. For Email Security, Cloudy provides explanations within the Phishnet tool to help end-users understand why an email was flagged, reducing unnecessary escalations to the SOC. This is achieved by aggregating structured outputs from multiple detection models and passing them to Workers AI for natural language explanation generation. For CASB, Cloudy translates complex findings into structured explanations for administrators, detailing the rationale behind detections and providing specific match details. The implementation leverages Cloudflare Workers AI for real-time generation of these summaries.
