Piecing together the Agent puzzle: MCP, authentication & authorization, and Durable Objects free tier

Summary
This post introduces new capabilities for AI agents to act as remote MCP clients, with built-in transport (SSE, HTTP, Streamable HTTP) and connection management. It also details integrations with Stytch, Auth0, and WorkOS for BYO OAuth providers for MCP servers, enabling authentication and authorization. Hibernation support for McpAgent is introduced to manage stateful, remote MCP servers. The Durable Objects free tier is now available, and Workflows are generally available for production-ready, long-running, multi-step actions. AutoRAG is also highlighted as a way to integrate context-aware AI.
