Unifying Workers AI and AI Gateway into a single AI control plane

This post details the convergence of Workers AI and AI Gateway into a single AI control plane. It introduces unified entrypoints via a Workers binding and a REST API, enabling automatic observability, logging, and cost attribution for all AI inference traffic without explicit AI Gateway setup. It also announces the ability to use AI Gateway credits for Workers AI usage, unified billing, and elevated rate limits for Workers AI models when using unified billing. Future plans for model-first routing and intelligent routing are outlined.
