Application Insights and Azure WebSites

This post introduces an extension for Azure WebSites that enables deeper Application Performance Management (APM) scenarios. After enabling the extension and ensuring the Application Insights SDK is updated, users can view statistics and details on application dependencies, including time spent in SQL dependencies, number of SQL calls, and average duration. This allows for understanding if performance issues are due to app code or its dependencies.
