Application Insights: Moving from Visual Studio Online Portal to Azure Preview Portal

Summary
This post announces the transition of Application Insights from the Visual Studio Online Portal to the Azure Preview portal. New users will be directed to the Azure Preview portal starting mid-February 2015, with the Visual Studio Online portal being switched off mid-2015. The Azure Preview portal offers a simplified interface, interactive data exploration, data export capabilities, and enhanced SDK features that eliminate the need for an agent on each server for web application performance monitoring. A Status Monitor is still available for more comprehensive telemetry.
