Application Insights SDK (0.10.0-prerelease)

This post announces Application Insights SDK version 0.10.0-prerelease. Key updates include support for ASP.NET web applications, Windows Phone 8.0/8.1, Windows Store 8.1 applications, and various logging frameworks (System.Diagnostics.Trace, Nlog, Log4Net). It introduces automatic server request monitoring, capturing response time, request rate, and failure rate. Diagnostic log capture is enhanced for logging frameworks and direct trace message emission. Client-side web telemetry for page views, user sessions, and browser versions is now available via JavaScript instrumentation. A preview custom telemetry API is introduced, supporting tracking of events, metrics, traces, and exceptions with custom properties and metrics. Dedicated NuGet packages for Windows Phone and Windows Store apps offer automatic collection of session starts, application crashes, and page views, along with automatic contextual properties.
