This thread tracks the evolution of secure file transfer capabilities for CI/CD pipelines. Initially, an SSH task was released to run commands on remote machines. This post introduces the 'Copy Files Over SSH' task, which supports SFTP and SCP protocols for securely copying files to remote servers. This task is available in Visual Studio Team Services and will be available in the next version of Team Foundation Server for on-premises installations.
