Nearest-Neighbor Search Library

Spotify has developed and open-sourced Voyager, a new nearest-neighbor search library designed to succeed Annoy. Voyager is based on hnswlib and offers significant improvements in speed, accuracy, and memory usage compared to Annoy. It provides production-ready, fault-tolerant index files and fully supported Python and Java bindings with identical interfaces. Voyager is designed for flexibility, stateless deployments, and cost-effectiveness, addressing the evolving needs of Spotify's personalization, recommendation, and search systems.
