This post introduces a unified agent builder that merges graph-based and conversational approaches, allowing for natural language creation and step-by-step manual control. It also adds 'Fast' and 'Thinking' modes to the plan & execute step, enabling agents to optimize for speed or depth of reasoning, with 'Thinking' mode achieving 94% end-to-end answer completeness in internal testing for complex use cases. Granular agent permissions are introduced for admins to control sharing and publishing, and agent routing from Glean Assistant is enabled via configurable rules to direct user queries to specialized agents.
