Glean’s Agentic Engine 2 achieves 94% completeness, excelling at challenging enterprise debugging, writing, and enumeration tasks

Agentic Engine 2 introduces adaptive planning and reasoning, moving beyond v1's single planning step to continuously plan and re-plan. It leverages an enhanced Enterprise Graph with 3x more signals, embedded end-to-end. The engine treats third-party agents as callable tools, enabling multi-agent systems. It incorporates both short-term memory for iterative refinement during tasks and long-term memory (Personal Graph and Enterprise Graph) for storing user preferences and organizational patterns. Specific improvements are highlighted in debugging (goal-first planning, artifact-aware code search), writing (improved performance on WritingBench, personalization using Personal Graph), and enumeration/data analysis (scouting for data sources, leveraging Enterprise Graph for hierarchical data, sub-agent delegation).
