Navigation Update for Azure DevOps

This post details improvements to the navigation model for Azure DevOps, specifically addressing feedback on the new navigation experience. Key changes include performance fixes, improved scrolling, elimination of left navigation "jumpiness", improved filtering and styling, updates to the "My Work" panel to include work items, pull requests, and favorites, and improved navigation across hubs in Azure Boards. For Azure Boards, navigation between Boards, Backlogs, and Sprints now bypasses the directory page to go directly to the artifact for the same team. Directory pages have been consolidated into a single page with sections for "Continue where you left off," "Favorites," "My," and "All" artifacts. Dashboards will also adopt this model. The rollout schedule includes turning on the new navigation for all organizations in mid-October 2018, with an opt-out period until January 16th, 2019, after which it becomes the only option. The new navigation model will also be the default in the next version of Azure DevOps Server.
