Azure Boards continues to evolve with enhanced reporting and visualization capabilities for Kanban and Sprint workflows. This includes interactive Sprint Burndown, Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD), and Velocity reports, offering deeper insights into team progress, bottlenecks, and planning. Recent updates focus on improving user experience by introducing new system fields (Board Column, Board Column Done, Board Lane) that capture valuable data from the Kanban board. These fields are now integrated. This post adds pull request annotations directly on work item cards, allowing teams to quickly understand the state of development without opening a work item or switching to Azure Repos. Users can also turn off these annotations in board settings.
