What’s new for MSTest unit tests in Visual Studio 11 Beta

This post details performance enhancements for MSTest unit tests in Visual Studio 11 Beta, including a new lightweight adapter for faster execution. It introduces separate, simplified project templates for unit tests, Coded UI Tests, and Load tests. Compatibility with Visual Studio 2010 projects is maintained. MSTest unit testing is now available in Visual Studio 11 Express for Web and Windows 8, with first-class support for Windows 8 Metro style apps and asynchronous code testing using the async/await pattern.
